"I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." — Marilyn Monroe

Composition
Good Composition
This picture has good composition because of symmetry. When you look at the pictures your eyes go directly into the middle of the picture. If you took the picture and but it in half it would be similar on both sides making it symmetrical.
This picture has good composition because of repetition. The lines on the bench are all the same. Your eyes go back and forth between all the lines on the bench. They go from on side to the other throughout the whole picture causing repetition.
Bad Composition
This picture is an example of bad composition. When you look at the picture you look at the black light pole and it looks like it's the same height as the tree. There is so scale in the picture at all, it would need to be taken from a different angle.
This picture has bad composition. The fire hydrant is directly in the middle of the page but it's not dominant enough to have good composition. There is nothing interesting about the picture to make you want to look at it.
